Hello! My name is Kiran Dhillon and in the Fall of 2008, I will be attending UBC in the Faculty of Science. I have always been very active in organizations that work to help improve the lives of others, as I have spent time volunteering for the Food Bank, a local soup kitchen, Kids Help Phone and War Child Canada, and I was also President of the Outreach Charities club at my high school. I am very excited to be a part of YEP because I feel that the youth of today need to start thinking about and taking action on the global responsibilities that we will face as we become leaders in our communities. I’m also very passionate about the arts, as I try to learn just about any instrument that I can get my hands on and I am involved in the Youth Arts Council of Surrey.
